Cruise from Lymington to Yarmouth or The Hut restaurant on the Isle of Wight arriving in style we offer a fixed price Charter day for you and all your guests. The Diversion motor yacht can moor in front of The Hut restaurant and a tender will collect you from the boat to take you directly to the restaurant. Or alternatively moor in the historic harbour of Yarmouth (mooring fees apply) with a large choice of pubs, restaurants and local shops within walking distance.

Standard day charter days start at 10am and finishes at 5pm and start from Lymington. Starting at an alternative location may attract additional charges for the skipper, relocation, and mooring fees.
Organised by the Island Sailing Club the one day yacht race attracts over 1,200 boats and around 10,000 sailors making it one of the largest yacht races in the world. It follows a 50 nautical mile course around the Isle of Wight, starting at the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes. Watch the yachts race out west along the Solent towards Newtown and Yarmouth before arriving at The Needles to watch the rounding of the main fleet. Enjoy the amazing spectacle from the comfort of Diversion with a front row seat for you and your guests.
With approximately 40 daily sailing races, up to 800 boats, and 8,500 competitors it is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world. As well as the sailing activities, the week includes a large number of onshore events, including live music and cocktail parties. Around 100,000 visitors are attracted to Cowes by the festival atmosphere of the event each year in addition to all the competitors.
The legendary 200 mile (182 nautical miles) Cowes to Torquay race returns this year. Enjoy the race from the comfort of Diversion with its full open air space and seating which offers a fantastic viewing platform to see the boats on their way. There is a second race for a smaller class of boats which is to Poole and back with boats returning around 1 or 2pm, the larger boats return from Torquay from around 4pm.
If you are planning to see the Bournemouth Air Show in 2024 then there is no better way than on the open water. Enjoy a front row seat on the Diversion motor yacht which offers a fantastic viewing platform to watch the aerial action unfold. It is a truly spectacular event and fun for all ages.
